Jamie Schramm was born and raised in Sheboygan. He is a proud graduate of both Sheboygan North High School and Lakeland University, where he attained his MBA in 2010. Since 2010, he has served his alma mater as an adjunct instructor, teaching business, leadership development and interdisciplinary courses.

Jamie’s professional career started in Manufacturing Operations Leadership where he focused much of his attention on Continuous Improvement, Lean and Process Design. Much valued experience has been gained from his time at Kohler Company, HUI and Johnsonville. In 2012, he joined Kohler Credit Union where he focused primarily on Organizational and Leadership Development in addition to Community Outreach and Engagement.

In 2020, Jamie took a leadership position with UW-Green Bay remaining there until 2024, when he joined the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce’s Staff as their Director of Development and Programming. In this role, he was able to maximize his own professional development experiences as a Crucial Conversations certified facilitator as well as delivering customized professional development workshops for Chamber members.

In late 2025, Jamie was offered the opportunity to serve his alma mater, Lakeland University, in a full-time capacity as the Program Manager for Workforce and Professional Development initiatives. In addition, he works with current students providing mentorship and support for their co-op and experiential learning experiences.

Jamie dedicates much of his time both professionally and in community service to K-12 workforce development issues, developing our next generation of leaders, financial literacy, Youth Apprentice efforts as well as supporting active duty military and veteran families in our region.
