My name is Samson Hou-Seye, and I have the distinct privilege of teaching welding at Rocket Academy. My background is deeply rooted in the world of manufacturing, with experience spanning welding, fabrication, assembly, design, and continuous improvement. These skills have allowed me to connect with students from all walks of life—meeting them where they are and building them into the next generation of blue-collar professionals that our society so greatly needs.

Whether I’m teaching a technical skill or guiding students through workplace expectations, I always emphasize understanding the why behind the what. I strive to make learning hands-on, engaging, and purposeful. My ultimate goal is to open students’ eyes to the vast possibilities within the manufacturing world and help them envision what their future careers could hold.

I operate with a foundation of safety first, followed by integrity, accountability, communication, and respect. These values are the building blocks of any successful career in the trades or industry at large.
